Both of them certainly should lose weight. I think it would make an interesting series to see them both lose weight. Duncan could help by asking them to take him for walks more often or, being the clever dog that he is, hiding their food.
I wonder if the persons who writes this comic are overweight and base the characters on themselves. If so time to make life changes.
