The joke here is that nobody since the Etruscans (an ancient people who lived in Italy at the time of the ancient Romans) died out, NOBODY knows how to read or write their language (except very fragmentarily.)
She should try learning a language people actually speak. Unless she already knows every language on the planet.
I think she should choose a current language that uses the roman alphabet. English would be a good choice.
