From what I read, not even Murdoch could save the paper. The alleged victims range from the royal family, politicians, a murdered girl, and various family members of fallen soldiers. It’s thought that up to 4000(!!) cell phones had been hacked. The major advertisers started to boycott it. There was nothing really left for Murdoch to save. He’s focusing his energy on saving Rebekah Brooks, not to mention his now shaky BSkyB takeover attempt.
murdoch’s tv viewers don’t know that he admitted under oath, in court, during dominion’s defamation suit, that his staff lied about the results of the 2020 usa general election; they were afraid the viewers, many of whom are followers of inmate 11780 and the rest of the koup klutz klan, would change the channel if they heard the truth. because dominion just took the money and ran, without demanding a public retraction and apology, their viewers still don’t know; that’s why murdoch’s staff continue to this day to lie about the election results, lies that contributed mightily to the terrorist attack on the usa capitol building on 6/1/’21.
