Lila is in a difficult position here. Bob’s her (cute) ex. Drew’s landed two guys in the past year. Drew is now her supervisor. It would take an inhuman person not to be jealous of where Drew is now. Further, if this has all happened in the past year, then Drew may be moving too quickly to commitment. What I like about Lila here is that she’s not fake-pretending to be excited for Drew. To my mind, honesty is one of the marks of a real friend.
My impression is that Lila thinks Drew is still on the rebound from Tad too much to be considering getting married again already. So I kind of agree with Rockngolfer.
JWF I want to hear about Lila’s date with Dr. Kline. So please start weaving us one of your great stories. I would like to see this go somewhere with the good Dr.
