I am intrested to see how tarzan stops a poaching ring with a high official in charge. You cant just punch him and all who participate; or can you?

@ pokerfaced parrot; you seem to know something about the jungleman. I have learned that roaring dominance like the Great Bull Ape in real life releases many wonderful chemicals within the body. I suggest doing this in far isolation from others though. What have you learned from the Ape Man?

I have to tell all of you on this blab that I’m 88 yrs old and well remember the Tarzan comics way back in the 1930s. That’s when Tarzan battled the great apes and generally survived in a hostile jungle. Sure, he did battle some bad guys but nothing as at present trying to insert a ‘jungle’ man into a 21st century scenario. But I still like the old bugger – brings back my childhood. I must be in my second childhood!

Maybe if those shoes had little bells on their toes Tarzan would have snagged them—-Serena likes music while she’s “performing”!

Keep in mind that these are reprint strips from the 1960’s. The story line is a little more action oriented that the previous one.Tarzan Rules. Get more info from The Burroughs Bibliophiles.

For those who may not have seen a similar post, all the ERB Tarzan books are available for download, free of charge, at Project Gutenberg, usually as EPUB, MOBI, or PDF, and some as audio books. You can even pick up some Zane Grey or H. Rider Haggard while you’re there. Many, many other public domain authors, also.

Hi tarjohn & John Neu. I am 77 and here at the geezer gathering. This 21st Century comics version of a Johnny Weissmuller movie thriller still has a bit of the ole suspense. It’s not just for ten-year-olds anymore.
