Uh, yeah. Palin accomplished a half-term and Bachmann is making her old history teachers wonder what they did wrong.

Bruce, try to find one OTHER gaffe by Obama about history. Now go to the long list of Bachmann mistakes. Let’s compare apples to apples, shall we?

Way to piss off right wingnut apologists …On what will happen if her same-sex marriage ban amendment fails to pass in 2004: “It isn’t that some gay will get some rights. It’s that everyone else in our state will lose rights. For instance, parents will lose the right to protect and direct the upbringing of their children. Because our K-12 public school system, of which ninety per cent of all youth are in the public school system, they will be required to learn that homosexuality is normal, equal and perhaps you should try it. And that will occur immediately, that all schools will begin teaching homosexuality.” — Senator Michele Bachmann, appearing as guest on radio program “Prophetic Views Behind The News”, hosted by Jan Markell, KKMS 980-AM, March 6, 2004.

“He who warned, uh, the British that they weren’t gonna be takin’ away our arms, uh, by ringing those bells, and um, makin’ sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed.” —Sarah Palin, botching the history of Paul Revere’s midnight ride, June 3, 2011

Maybe the Republicans will draft Casey Anthony now as a “family values” candidate??

Let the side-show begin, neither one of them will be in the main event.

I wonder, did Obama blame his gaffes on the media, Bruce? Did he say he was right and the media was wrong and he’s merely the victim of the “Conservative Media Agenda?”

Bruce, if you don’t care, then be honest and don’t make false comparisons. Here’s one that may help clarify the apple-to-apple comparison:http://www.politifact.com/personalities/michele-bachmann/http://www.politifact.com/personalities/barack-obama/

At this time I have no interested in Bachmann because she is the tea party darling. Everything I’ve seen of them seems to say “no compromise no matter the cost”. However, I wonder how many people had to look up the history facts she got wrong or are just parroting someone else’s critism

¶ It is an amusing cartoon but not very good. The hysteria in the remarks is rather peculiar. Neither Sarah Palin nor Representative Bachmann is worth any of our attention. They are unintelligent pawns of the plutocrats, and only Putzhill thinks that either of them would be a better president than is President Obama, which says much about his political acumen.¶ In any case, the Republicans will probably nominate Mitt Romney. He has considerably more money than has any other candidate. Obama will defeat Romney, because there is no reason to vote for Romney.¶ I would love for the rightstream media to re-acquire its backbone & moral compass, return to the center, & ignore Palin while asking challenging questions of Bachmann.

I still like the ’68 Israeli Border gaff-which-was-not-a-gaff-because-Obama-really-meant-it gaff. That was classic Obamadinajad.

So, back to this toon- When is it Correct Behavior to destroy a Woman, Latino, or African American? Well, whenever they aren’t Leftist Democrats and have a strong public profile, that’s when. Even Matt Bors knows that, and boy does he enforce it.

The last time a Conservative did the Witch Hunt thing on the same level that Lefties now take as their entitlement, it was 60 years ago and Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin was censured for it. Like that Alaskan e-mail fishing stunt wasn’t a destructive witch hunt? Were they looking for more material for Tina Fey???

I do know Peter King, and that man had a front row seat to the World Trade Centers coming down. He has good cause, but he’s been demagogued into a useful caricature. As long as Muslims refuse to even acknowledge the violent extremists amongst them, King will continue to have good cause. Not the same as the shamelessly partisan stunts being played out by The Left every day.
