STORY UPDATE: Larry has sat for weeks with a rare Socorro Mockingbird on his head. A group of birdwatchers now follows Larry's every move. Son says, "Is that really a socorro, dad?" Dad says, "Yes, son, and there are only fifty in the world." Son says, "But is he safe up there, dad?" Dad says, "Oh, yes, son. High up off the ground, he's protected from all his natural predators, such as cats, and-" Chomp chomp chomp Son says, "Looks like cats have adapted, dad." Larry says, "In you face, freeky bird peeple!"
