their mom doesn’t even go to school. I guess she can’t for them to get out of the house.

They obviously don’t live in Georgia; in some districts down here, kids are already in school as I type this.

8ball: When did they let out for the summer? Back in my day, school started after Labor Day because schools (except for the offices) weren’t air conditioned) and let out again two weeks later for another two weeks so the kids could be put to work harvesting. This gave city kids a second vacation. We never could find out why they couldn’t start school after the cotton was ginned.
