I love the “bible thumpers” condemning the Taliban for holding the exact same views they do. Uncle Remus told gentler, kinder, myths, with the same morals, but less brutally enforced.

Can you just stop talking now?” —science-Aaaaand we all know that 1) No, they will not stop spouting their hateful rhetoric. 2) Eventually, they will concede the fact that marriage equality is not so against their Lord’s tenets as they once thought, and 3) Evolution is obviously the way that life arose on earth. (That one’s sort of unrelated). (But also inevitable).

Science changes its conclusions when new evidence comes to light. Sad to say the same cannot be said of religion (the self-proclaimed Light of the world).
