Why it's called internal combustion
Burning gas and coal puts greenhouse gases into atmosphere... raising global temperatures until those internal to that atmosphere...combust
Now if “righties” and “deniers” could just go back to first grade and learn to read complete sentences. The “combustion” in the ‘toon is relative. The idiocy of folks unable to comprehend the data is unrelated to any facts. No, the atmosphere won’t combust, but human “compression ratios” are close to blowing the planet’s head gasket.
Back in the 80’s, the whole country went on an energy saving drive by changing thermostat settings and turning lights off, so the power companies raised rates to cover the profit loss and we wound up paying the same thing for using less. That lesson I learned……
