I simply do not understand this “I deserve what you have” mentality. That is what has gotten us into this mess in the first place. How do you expect us to get out of it if we don’t change the direction we are heading?

Conservationism? When did Vortex become a conservationist?

But back to the cartoon, it turns out that continuing policies that siphon money from the powerless and give it to the powerful is really, really bad for the powerful. There’s a reason this economy is not recovering, and it’s because those we need to be spending money don’t have any. The rich are the richest they’ve ever been, but they’re not creating jobs because no one can buy stuff.)

I thought you liked the “working poor.” That’s just the Free Market at work, right?

Money made overseas that is kept overseas isn’t the problem. But that’s not where the money is made, is it?If you make a pair of sneakers for $2 in Taiwan and then sell them here for $200, then that profit was made here. If you say your HQ is somewhere in bumf*ckville, I-Don’t-Exististan, and therefore dodge US taxes on that $200 of U.S. money, THAT’S a problem.

Swirly loves the working poor, they keep his buddies rich, and KEEPing them poor is right up his heroes’ alley.
