Whore your services out to the highest bidder and have your conscience removed? Be lucky enough to work in a niche industry that is in high demand so pays nicely as well as actually improves the world around you? Win the lotto? :-)

Hot coffee in the morn, work in the garden, take a nap, cook a delicious dinner, hug loved ones at bedtime and get a good night sleep.

Dogsniff, did you know the illustration in your avatar originally came from a little book called Droodles by Roger Price? My favorite was “Trombone Player In A Phone Booth” which, turned sideways, became “Dead Trombone Player”. Thanks for inadvertantly sparking my memory!

I believe Dogsniff’s droodle was named “ship arriving too late to save a drowning witch.”

The secret to spiritual contentment is to give love, wealth is an illusion anyway.

@3hourtour I also only need my landline and the only “app” is caller ID-so I only answer calls of those I know.

The secret to spiritual contentment is indifference to great wealth.(Notice I said “indifference to” and not “contempt for.”)

Money is a useful tool, and of course you need enough to survive, but if accumulation of wealth for its own sake is your goal you will never be content.

It didn’t exactly put it that way— Mark 10:21 says "Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said to him, ‘You are lacking in one thing. Go, sell what you have, and give to (the) poor and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.’ " Even giving away all you have leaves you treasure in heaven.

This kid STILL will only use a cell phone just for that…I call people, people call me. They aren’t pleased that I won’t reply their texts with texts, but, HEY, call me weird, but a phone is for talking. Going old school here!
