Okay. Let’s remember that a lot more than that were killed in 1 day on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944. How small would those stars be? I’ll also remember that my grandfather wasn’t part of a volunteer army.
Nice, but let’s not forget all our soldiers who have given the ultimate sacrifice and those who come home with memories none of us will ever be able to even begin to understand.
