So where’s the camera that’s showing Diet (in his PJs) on Tracy’s wrist phone/computer/genee thingy? Shouldn’t Tracy be looking at a screenful of ear hair and wax?

Okay, so the current “expert” advice is “don’t go near it”.

But when it was completely intact?

Go for it.

Now there’s two wires connecting the arm.

Diet has a camera mounted in bedroom?? I guess if Dick has nothing to do if he can watch Diet and any lady friends he brings home??

I’m not a physics expert, but I’m pretty sure that magneticism and high voltage are not one and the same. I think Diet just wanted to tell Tracy something quick to get Tracy off the phone, so Diet can go back to dreams of cartons of milk.

Ludwig-lets be honest- Diet doesn’t look like the type of guy who is bringing home a lot of ladies.

“Oh Elsie, keep pouring milk on me, you know you’re the best! Keep mooing for me baby! Oh Elsie, Elsie roll with me in the grass!!” The phone ringing snapped Diet out of the wonderful dream he was having. “What idiot is calling me at this time of the day?” he angrily wanted to know. He was ticked off when he heard Tracy babbling on the other end. “What does that stupid old fool want at this hour”? Diet muttered under his breath. “Tracy, it’s 2:00 am. What’s going on”? Diet listened as Tracy babbled on about another robot attacking Traze-R and about an arm in someone’s mouth and something about his eyebrows. “I got woken up from such a fantastic dream for this”? Diet was desperate to get back to Elsie. He knew Tracy would never understand anything technical he told him so he attempted to say something even a fifth grader would comprehend. “Another robot”? “Yes Tracy, they operation on very high voltage”. Diet knew there was a good chance Dick would do the opposite of what he said. His stomach began to shake uncontrollably with laughter as he said in a very loud, clear voice; “Don’t go near it”! Tracy was worried that Diet didn’t answer him when he asked him to repeat what he just said. “He must have hung up on me again. What did that milk dud say, “Go near it”? Tracy figured Smith knew about this sort of stuff better then he did so he began to move his hand next to Braces mouth. Braces, fearing Tracy was trying to take Brute-Force away from him prepared to push Dick away.

BTW, the bad guys got a robot from QVC. Log onto you Commodore 100 PC and see if they have a copy of the instruction manual on there. I’ll hang on…….

Why, in the third panel, is Tracy’s wrist TV pointed at Braces? Is Tracy sharing the exciting news of High Voltage with Braces?

I had to look it up. Robot voltages aren’t all that high– EXCEPT FOR (more later)

Most voltages are under twenty volts. The servo motors that operate the arms and the wheels will pull that. Control voltages will be pretty much the standard stuf you’ve got running around your computer’s circuits. We’re talking 12 volts, 5 volts, 3.5 volts and so on. Not exactly high voltages here, eh?

Now, we come to that EXCEPT FOR from earlier. Remember that laser? It’s a man killer, and to get that kind of power I’m guessing that you would use capacitors that would pack maybe fifty thousand volts or so. A sudden discharge produces that laser blast. The batteries recharge the capacitors in a matter of minutes.

BF has been damaged, those capacitors may have been at near full charge, and now you have no idea how well any protections may have survived the blast that destroyed BF. Yep, because of the laser, there could be some really interesting voltages running around loose.

Apart from the laser, you would have more shock potential from an electric golf cart.

Silly me. First I thought all this was going on inside the building. Then I thought this was going on in broad day light. Next, we will find out this is all occurring in mainland China.
