I don’t understand how the acting reference fits into this whole thing. Shouldn’t it be something like, “It’s a dog eat dog world” or “Every dog has its day”?
Maybe so, Ludwig…there are still some unanswered questions out there, however. Somehow I think they will stay unanswered, unfortunatly, as we move into the new story involving Diet Smith. Sigh. And THAT story will no doubt take us past New Year’s. (Bassman Bob…where are you? We need an alternate fan fiction story line!! ;) )
Can’t believe they finally cuffed her. Now, Chief Liz(z) needs to find out who did her background check. And finally, Tracy needs to go back to the Police Academy to learn about handling prisoners. Shirl was denied medical treatment. And no, Tracy, a bandaid isn’t the same thing. I bet he forgot to read her Miranda rights.
I still can’t figure that profile out in pannel 3. Every time DL draws the profie of DT, there is some sort of straight line coming directly out of Tracy’s eye. Is that supposed to be eyelashes?
Actually, Richard T, there is a worm growing out of Tracy’s eye.
2.13 stars to Locher for doing a great job of making a woman look like a man (Liz). Negative 3 stars for making Shirl do an exorcist type pose and for repeating an extreme close up of Tracy that was not any better the first time we saw it.
How about a pizza bagel today, DickTracy? Thats pizza cut in the shape of a bagel and it will unfortunately never fit in your tiny slice like mouth. Oh well, better luck next time, Detective!
While I still prefer the old Comicspage set up this new method is going to take time for me getting used to. I have no idea how to send my photo but I guess I rather not. Dick Locher is a pulitzer prized cartoonist and was highly valued by Chester Gould way back when, 1950’s but I think he should retire.
I tried to put my pic in and they kicked it back. They said they could only take 500kb. Anyway, if any of you have a picture of Matthew McConaughey, paste it in next to my post. That’ll have to do.
