I thought we were going to see Nina give a surprise birthday party for Skeezix in today’s installment. At least he got a free cup of coffee from Slim in yesterday’s birthday strip.
Skeezix was left on the doorstep of Walt Wallet on 2/14/21. His biological mom was an opera star Mdm. Helene Octave who was the sister of Aunt Phyllis who died a few years ago. GA was ahead of its time to pose the problem of a single unwed woman in the public eye to give up her baby to avoid scandal and ruin her career. There was a big custody story case with Skeezix’s real dad, Sir Coda wanting to take Skeezix back. Walt won. Skeezix inherited his Dad’s money in the 90’s but it all was lost to back dated taxes.
Man, you sure told me! Don’t you think you need to relax? Maybe just a little? I don’t really care for the moose either, but it’s tons better than the repetative rehash found on Dick Tracy, Annie, Brenda Star and so on. The only other strip who avoids the rehash is Mark Trail, with his Sunday infotoon. Gil Thorp doesnt even run on Sunday, to avoid the recap. Watch your blood pressure my brother, calm blue ocean, and so on! ALways with the negative vibes, Chubsy!

Wow! What a wonderful bit of GA knowledge. Thanks so much for sharing. I started reading GA because I remember how much my Uncle loved it when I was little. I’ve really come to enjoy it, Moose and all, but I don’t really know much about it. You’ve really made my day, thanks!
