Which side are you on? Ever notice how the inconvenience of labor-management disputes is always blamed on the workers? (Man 1: My wool sweaters are full of holes! Damn those strikes! ) (Man 2: The mothball makers union has us all by the short ones!) You'd never expect a media report to side against the bosses... (Man 3: Doesn't management care about the millions of Americans annoyed by the strike? It's up for them to pay up!) ...nor would you see a president intercede on Labor's behalf. (Bill Clinton: I've decided to invoke the amended version of the Taft-Hartley act to force the company to give big raised to their striking workers.) America: It's a nice place to visit but you wouldn't want to work there. (Man 4: Sometimes I feel like I deserve a raise.) (Man 5: Wow- you must hate yourself!)
