Your national archives proudly present History Watch internment camp madness revealed! Newly declassified documents reveal that tens of thousands of Italian-Americans were sent to concentration camps during World War II. The F.B.I. jailed 110,000 Japanese-Americans 11,000 German-Americans and assorted Bulgarians, Czechs, Hungarians and Romanians because they were suspected of pro-axis sympathies. (Woman: "Land of the free" my tuckus!) (Man: Come along sucker) Edward J Baines recalls the atmosphere of hysteria: (They arrested all the French people because they might be pro-vicky, the poles because they lost to the nazis so fast, the hispanics because of Franco... it was crazy!) Historians react to the new information... (Man: This changes everything! By 1944, everyone of European ancestry was in an interment camp, the Blacks were dead from lynchings and the Asians were in camps 700. The result was inevitable : we lost the war!) Predictably old ideas die hard. (Woman: Of course, this does explain free trade.) (Ho, ho! Das paranoia its win humorischt!!
