The media doesn’t vote on whether to go to war or not. They sure are doing a good job of not reporting about Iraq anymore since we are actually winning out there now though.
It’s figurative, Daddy-o, the rabid masses tear them apart verbally like Limbaugh and O’Reilly, except of course for the ones like Timothy McVeigh, Eric Robert Rudolf and the others that advocate killing women’s health clinic docs. You know, the Christian terrorists.
No Bob, they don’t, but they sure did pass that rubbish on to us. Administration talking points verbatim. Even the evil and liberal NYT was a water boy. If the ‘Liberal’ media had done 1/2 as much investigative journalism as say The Guardian in London or Woodward/Bernstein in Watergate, they wouldn’t even have the opportunity to ignore how the surge is or isn’t working.
