Oh, DARN!

Ahhhh, the power of myth!

Isn’t “darn” where you go when you have holes in your socks?

What censorship. This is as bad as substitute teaching junior high. I had to put that bad word in quotes so it wouldn’t get bleeped over.

I believe Dilbert’s Scott Adams once answered a complaint about some mild explitive by saying “I hope Gosh doesn’t ‘darn’ me to heck for using the name of his son Jeepers Cripes.”

(It’s hard to believe this site actually bleeps “darn”.)

rdh288 Yes I do remember that Dilbert strip. It may also be in one of the many Dilbert books I’ve aquired over the years. But I do recall seeing it and in full color.

Good Googly Moogly is one of my coworker’s favorite expressions.

I remember taking a math class in college many many years ago and the professor was an older gentlemen. He got upset about something and shouted “oh fiddlesticks” He very quickly apologized, but I was amused that he thought he said something bad.
