apoligizing for american, massive spending that our children and g-children will pay, kissing the asses of foreign dictators, throwing our intelligence agencies under the bus….. if this is how we get the rest of the world to like us then i’m in!
KK(K?) –Chastising the CIA for breaking domestic laws and international treaties is NOT throwing them under the bus. Funny that the FBI knew better than to torture. Funny that the FBI got accurate info from Abu Zubaida by NOT torturing him.
Shame on Obama for showing the world that we really want to be an honest player.
A. Ford was never actually elected
B. Clinton did win 2 terms
C. Just because a president spends less time in office does not mean they can not leave there mark on the world.
the cartoon is a graph of our country’s image (not the president’s popularity). Our national image we be more reflective of how much we’re respected, revered, and admired. That was at zero when Obama took office.

My deepest condolences on the death of the Republican Party. Although I was not personally affected by its sudden and self-destructive passing, I know that you must be morning its loss. Please know that my thoughts are with you in what surely must be a difficult time of grief and adjustment.

How do you know those figures represent Obama’s approval ratings?
I don’t recall him starting out at, what is that, 10%?
danielsangeo almost 15 years ago
“Jimmy Carter had higher job approval ratings at this point.”
And George W. Bush had lower (56%). So what?
danielsangeo almost 15 years ago
“It is not approval ratings, but billions spent each day; larger government; greater government dependency”
We’re still operating with Bush’s budget. The chart in the ‘toon is labeled “US Image”.

“Well, of course those elements in the rest of the world that want to see a humbled, weakened, and socialist America are liking what they see.”
Why would they want that?

Jimmy Carter also talks to Jesus over Lipton iced tea in his living room. Both Carter 1 and, now, Carter 2 are bozos!
