Correction !! Its Anti- Illegal Imigrant Groups that want to curb the welfare to children of illegal immigrants. There is a very big difference in sneaking into this country and entering legally and lawfully.
Just cuz u had a kid here should not mean tax payers have to support them !!!

Yes, actually, there IS a legal precedent to giving citizenship benefits to children born on US soil. It’s called being a natural-born citizen. CA is not going bankrupt because of natural-born children of illegal immigrants. We’re screwed because the voters have forced our budgets into a corner and the Republicans think it’s an excuse to ignore the need to raise taxes to pay for everything.

I never said there wasnt a precedent already. What i wrote was that we SHOLDN’T have to pay for it. This is the reason they come here. Free Govt. funds and Free health care.

You’re not guilty of your parent’s crimes. If you were born here, you are from here, & should be a citizen in any civilized nation. It’s in the U.S., Mexican & Canadian constitutions.
They don’t come for freebies, they come for jobs. Jobs are drying up, so is migration, legal & not.
Budget problem? Start by putting the pot-heads & hookers back on the street (it’s a personal problem, not a legal problem), freeing up prison space so you can fire a few prison guards & close a few prisons..
