It’s not that hard to understand Garfield: Food, sleep and, Oh weight thats all.
Sounds like John isn’t much of a pet - a good human is much easier to train.

I think that’s eat, sleep and eat some more. The “weight” is a result of those activities.

You’re making this a whole lot more complicated than it needs to be Jon. Garfield’s needs are very basic. Feed him, clean his litter box, pet him, cater to his every wish, you know the usual.
I thought that Jon could understand him. His facial expressions always seem to change when Garfield thinks his thoughts.
For the sake of your sanity Jon, it’s better you didn’t know what Garfield was thinking.
