In Garfield and friends there is a whole episode based off of this comic. The story is Garfield can’t sleep because he was awake all night watching TV, but then Binky the clown Comes and tries to get into there house because he thinks an old lady lives in the house and asked binky to sing happy birthday to her. Garfield finally gets rid of binky, and gets a few minutes of sleep, before Jon comes home from grocery shopping and tells Garfield that he got a birthday surprise because he shared a birthday with the old lady. A few seconds later they hear a knock on the door and Binky the clown comes in to sing to Garfield.
