Man: Hello? This is your federal regulator of persistent excessive and egregious pay scales, and you are misusing the money we loaned you, and we are quite annoyed. Hello? Punk: Could you try for miffed or strongly displeased even?
Boy I remember how the Bush and the GOP pounded the he—l out of these guys, they are so lucky the GOP isn’t in charge, they would get such a licking (or do I mean kissing, like on the ass)
Everybody knows that over-regulation of the Big Banks will destroy jobs in Detroit and the oil industry, not to mention migrant farm-workers. We dare not upset our fragile economy.
the right says CUT, cut, so cut this guys job as well, we doan need “big government”, pull out of the gulf, bp will do the right thing- sure they have.
after all, the DE regulated industries are on the “honor” system, we can trust them—right?
I trust att, trucking/airlines, bankers, all the prices/fares have gone down, like they promised, right? right?
we do not need tellers in the banks, costs come down after the free atms go in”…sure.
SO, the banks have the taxpayers $$$ they refuse to loan it out to main street, etc…
I saw a small crawl on tv that said banks are NOT foreclosing homes, ( leaving them hanging, and SHORTING the real estate market, with the $$,
Misusing the $$ and we are quite annoyed..”
Indeed.
“how looong has this bin going on?”
Pbarnrob and Myming are paranoid, guys. That, or your idea of debate is stifling the op-ed, so to speak. This cartoon reminds of John Boehner, in 2005, handing out checks on the Senate floor to tally support against financial/banking regulation. Like him, Obama is Wall-Street’s bumboy.
