The scale does not go to the left, it stops at Centerist, which the GOP calls Lefty-Comme.
If the US left were anywhere near as liberal as European centrists, Limbaugh’s, O’Rileys’, and Beck’s heads would explode.
For the GOP, there would actually be only two things on that scale….
“Militantly Determined to Overturn Roe-v-Wade”
“Baby Killer!!!”
I think it’ll end up at “kinda right”. The whole idea of “centrist” has moved to the right in the past few decades, and Obama has shown he is not definitively liberal when it comes to judicial appointments.
I’m guessing she’s gonna have to gain some weight if she wants to get confirmed.
She’s no more qualified than Harriet Myers, Bush’s own light-weight apointee, really, and equally abysmal.
