Oliphant just got stepped on. He richly deserved it considering what he is.

And what ‘s Oliphant exactly referring to here?

Don’t know, but I think he’s not happy with the snob in chief.

    Machado, this is my interpretation:

The Big “O” (Remember Victor Buono’s role in a Dean Martin/Matt Helm movie?) is not going to allow Bo’s (the family pet) offal deter his leading the country’s march to the poor house (The Big Picture).

    Well, I tried.

My interpretation: O made promises on various and sundry issues, which he now seems to be backing away from, because he now–as Oliphant is arguing–sees a “bigger picture” that requires a different stance on said issues. What’s important (according to Obama, in this cartoon) is the big picture, not the little issues and promises made concerning those issues.

^Yeap, very good interpretation guys, I should’ve spent more time on this panel last night……

I’m afraid the “Bigger Picture” is his relentless march towards Socialism, and complete intrusion of Government in our every day lives (more than it already is)… Already controls Banks more than ever before, Insurance companies, GM and Chysler (what we’ll drive in the future), and is trying to dictate to the free market what energy to produce at taxpayers expense of course..(higher rates)etc etc…

and now he’s trying to load the supreme court with his leftist agenda followers..I hope America wakes up and cut his tenure short come ‘10 and ‘12, or we are not going to recognized the monster we’ve created after a few more years of this administration’s medicine….

I can’t help but wonder if people like Machado were crying about the “complete intrusion of Government in our every day lives” when the Republicans try to enact federal family law (as in anti-gay marriage)?

Reminds me of Johnny Depp as Ed Wood: “…Nobody’s gonna’ notice. It’s all about the big picture!”

As I sang throughout the 2008 Presidential campaign:

“Meet the new boss/Same as the old boss!”
