Why include the line about Sarah Palin? Other than that it’s not a terrible strip, but tacking on Palin ruins it. What, is he afraid to upset Ms. 2012?

The Beltway-ephant would rather be exiled than led by Sarah. But now that she’s no longer a threat, he’s willing to pretend to care about her fate.
