My dentist thinks everyone has bad teeth because everyone he sees has bad teeth. I tell him there are thousands of folks who have perfect teeth that he never sees. True? Right?

Little known fact: Before launching his dental career, Dr. Gates worked at an AAMCO¹ franchise.

Of course he thinks everyone has something wrong with their teeth. If Teena visited his office he’d “find” something wrong so he could have a new patient and get more money.

When I was a kid (a long time ago) my dentist pointed out that I had a gap between the front teeth and that the eye teeth were crooked. I don’t remember what he said exactly now, but it came down to leave it alone, when the wisdom teeth came in, and would probably get pulled they would move around. And now the gap is gone and they rest are nicely straight without braces. But these days they probably would of put me in braces.

Not really. Of course things happen with food, candy, beverages, but like Gir63 mentioned, there’s the issue of crookedness. Teeth come in crooked because there isn’t room, etc. Then the wisdom teeth make it worse.

And college professors stress how necessary a college degree is. Could there be a connection?

Susan, children have 28 teeth then 4 wisdom teeht grow. However it happens that some people have some more teeth. My dentist said that some had 3 or 4 more!I do know adults who have 32 good teeth. Not me, alas!

I used to process dental claims. I’ve seen claims where it stated that a previous dentist had misdiagnosed the need for braces and the current dentist had to fix the damage.@gir63My two center front teeth are crooked and my lower incisors are crowded. Removing my wisdom teeth didn’t improve the situation.
