@ Scott - please. The bailout plan for the financial industry was passed before Obama was elected, he just put a few other industries (automakers etc) in. Frankly, I’m not happy he used taxpayer money to bail out these corporate thugs at all, and especially that he didn’t make them cough up all those bonuses they showered on each other with other peoples’ money, but I guess he didn’t want to upset Big Business - and the GOP, which tends to represent it - too much.
