Wow, this is so good..it should get Ramirez at least another nomination…

and don’t forget that now our “two faced” new leader promotes McCain’s “the fundamentals of our economy are sound”…and is looking into Taxing health benefits too… another idea floated by McCain and lambasted by the big “O”…

And to think that we could’ve had a Hero with experience sitting in the WH today, instead of an unqualified actor that doesn’t even know how to play host to foreign leaders and thinks bargain bins DVDs are adequate presents for foreign dignitaries……..

Mach, you spouted a bunch of nonsense. Yes, he is an unqualified actor, since he isn’t an actor at all. And we said no to the entrenched D.C. politician who changed his position on many issues to appease the rightwing base, who ran a sleazy, badly-managed campaign, and who selected an unqualified, barely literate woman as his v.p. pick in a cynical attempt to win Hillary voters. Thank goodness he’s not sitting in the White House.

Hey believe, where’s your common sense? Don’t be a hater. Just be honest, Obama doesn’t know what the heck he is doing. He’s like Pelosi’s little hand puppet. At least Palin has more experience. She’s done great things for Alaska. I wish she was my gov. instead of good ‘ol “Spend”el (PA). This cartoon is so true. It’s not just Obama, most politician are 2 faced. It’s just more obvious now that he’s president! Where’s that “change” he promised, just more of the same!

KelleK, move to Alaska if you love Palin so much, cause I hope the intellectually-challenged, extraordinarily hypocritical, obsessed with herself Palin never leaves it.

Change, you asked about change? Change I can believe in: 1) getting rid of no-bid, cost-plus government contracts; 2) closing GITMO; 3) dealing responsibly (and judiciously) with detainees at GITMO; 4) prohibiting torture as previously defined by Geneva convention; 5) ending the Bush tax cut gifts to the rich paid for by those working Americans who aren’t; 6) tax cuts for middle class who pay far more proportionately than the wealthy; 7) beginning the painful and difficult process of promoting healthcare reform and universal access; 8) limiting some of the tax loopholes that well-connected, influential blueblooded folks have used for generations to avoid paying their fair share of income taxes; 9) correctly putting the focus back on defeating al-Qaeda; 10) beginning the painful and difficult conversation about a Palestinian state; there’s more but I’ll stop with ten.

KelleK states “Just be honest, Obama doesn’t know what the heck he is doing. He’s like Pelosi’s little hand puppet. At least Palin has more experience. She’s done great things for Alaska.”

If you honestly have been paying attention you’d see Obama is far from being Pelosi hand puppet… it’s clear they do not see eye to eye on a few items ( which is a good thing ). As for Palin, with crime up, drug use up, high school graduates down ( including her daughter ) and the other troubles Alaska is facing I’m so tickled you think she is doing a fantastic job!

oldlego, no, I don’t think that’s true at all, despite the minor flap over the DVD gifts. I think the world is cheering America on right now, and probably trying to hide their smirks about the flailing, ranting establishment of wealthy, powerful, influential blueblooded folks who can’t believe there is going to be real change this time.

as opposed to each time the democrats promised it before? such as: JFK? I ran those campaign speeches of JFK’s this year for a teen leadership class, and several comments were: The things he’s saying sound just like Obama! That would be because he didn’t deliver, and neither will Obama.

    &quote:

8220;Camille Paglia, the feminist writer who was early and vocal Obama fan, said: “Heads should be rolling at the White House for the embarrassing series of flubs that have overshadowed President Obama’s first seven weeks in office.”

She denounced “the fiasco of the ham-handed White House reception for British Prime Minister Gordon Brown” and said that Mr Obama’s aides were a “posse of smirky smart alecks and provincial rubes” who seemed like “dazed lost lambs in the brave new world of federal legislation and global statesmanship”. Ms Paglia added on Salon.com that Mr Obama “has been ill-served by his advisers and staff.”Unquote.

Well, the dems wanted a president who was not “an entrenced DC politician.” That’s what you got. So what’s your problem then with Sara Palin? Because she still loves her daughter unconditionallly? I should think you libs would be able to do that, too, should you actually have a daughter, given your propensity for abortion.

teague, we’ll just have to agree to disagree. I haven’t read JFK’s speeches in a long time and I have no desire to compare them. I’ll judge Obama on his own actions and so he is already delivering on his promises. He is proposing transformational change. I applaud how he is pulling the pieces together to create a more perfect whole. Example is healthcare, it is not separate from our economic woes, it is a big part of our economic woes. With healthcare reform, he will also be addressing the looming entitlement problems of Medicare and Medicaid. I see that it’s hard for some people to grasp that all these pieces — energy indepedence, healthcare reform, investment in eeducation — are interdependent with our economy and each other, but they are nonetheless.

teague, I’m quite pleased the entrenched DC-politician isn’t in the White House so quite happy with what we’ve got. I don’t much care what Camille Paglia says. Never thought much of her before and still don’t. You asked: So what’s your problem then with Sara Palin? Can’t answer that question adequately in such small space, so I’ll just deal with her hypocrisy for starters. 1) She campaigned as a “reformer.” But she campaign for Governor in support of the $400 million Bridge to Nowhere, then turned against it only when it came to public ridicule and Alaska was told it would have to come up with larger matching funds. And, in spite, of her winky implication that she saved the taxpayers money, none of the funds were returned, Alaska kept the money for other projects. 2) Palin billed Alaska taxpayers perdiem travel expenses for 317 nights she spent at home sleeping in her own bed. BTW, that’s tax free income too. Reformer? phooey 3) Palin charged Alaska taxpayers for travel expenses for her family members, claiming that they too were on state business. Not so, of course. And you don’t have to believe me, Palin has now been ordered to return those funds back to the Alaska treasury. If Palin is so willing to lie about relatively “little” stuff, I shudder to think what the HIPPO-crit would lie about in a national office. teague further said: Because she still loves her daughter unconditionallly? I should think you libs would be able to do that, too, should you actually have a daughter, given your propensity for abortion. Ah, there you go, back to your usual blather that has nothing to do with the post. Tsk tsk.

hungryraptor … you referred to me as a “smart up to date modern man” (with heavy sarcasm) in an earlier post on another toon. On this toon, five hours go, you referred to me as “an unqualified, barely literate woman” … so quite obviously your post 20 minutes ago is a lie, by your own words. (and don’t go edit your words after the fact)

LLeray: I guess the moderator decided to “shout” for me, I didn’t do it! and if I’m a troll, you must be…? BCS: See the post included here:Dale Hopson says: KelleK states “Just be honest, Obama doesn’t know what the heck he is doing. He’s like Pelosi’s little hand puppet. At least Palin has more experience. She’s done great things for Alaska.” If you honestly have been paying attention you’d see Obama is far from being Pelosi hand puppet… it’s clear they do not see eye to eye on a few items ( which is a good thing ). Note especially the part about Palin, and her daughter. That is what I responded to.

and I repeat: what’s your problem then with Sara Palin? Because she still loves her daughter unconditionallly? I should think you libs would be able to do that, too, should you actually have a daughter, given your propensity for abortion. Despite your comment about my “blathering”, I at least admire your attempt at discussion. Still, the use of the red herring argument is blatantly apparent to someone who has had a class in logic.

teague, i find your post disingenuous at best. I did my d@rnest to discern what was directed at me and what was directed at others. Here goes: 1) you asked: So what’s your problem then with Sara Palin? I answered that with specifics and facts, so don’t have a clue why you would ask it again. And, BTW, it’s Sarah, not Sara 2) I made a comment about your “blathering” because you just had to insert abortion and the usual slams about libs and abortion into a series of posts and a toon that had nothing to do abortion or stem cells or anything remotely close to it. That’s blathering. 3) If you had actually used logic, whether or not you’d ever taken a course in it, you’d see your post was the red herring.
