Sometimes I run. I run down this long canyon, not stopping. I run so fast, not caring if how far i am from home. I come to a cliff, and as the wind presses against my face I start climbing down. I come to the lake, and jump in. Ah, the beauty of free run.

Yes Calvin I agree the bases are too far apart! My granddaughter comes tearing through the house like that and says ever so calmly, “Whatcha doing?” It sounds like a herd of elephants coming down the hallway! She loves it too if she can land on the bed, roll-out, she can say, “Tada!”, and ask you what you thought of her landing too! At 3 1/2 she’s quite the character.

Not Calvinball… not yet. Calvinball is too much fun for both parties, for one thing. For another, Calvin would’ve made the first of many changes (in his favor) by no later than the third frame.

Apparently, at least half a dozen people want me to be out, also, based on some of yesterday’s final comments. Should their desire prevail, or do they have no bases for it?

Hey squintyeyed if you use iExplorer 8 all you have to do is hold down control and turn the mouse wheel to zoom to where you can read it. I have to do this all the time. After all Calvin is Just a “little guy” right? Run Calvin Run!

Ah….I remember the days when we children would get together after school and on weekends and make up our own rules as we went along. No grownups allowed at our games. No upmires, referees, officials…..and no disapointments over wrong calls, we had fun and didn’t care who won or lost.

    Puddleglum2:

You can say anything you want far as I’m concerned. If I start to see any religous comments I skip over the post and read the next. It’s entertaining to read the comments from people who are annoyed with certain posts, though. I don’t think people want you out necessarily.

Puddlegum2 - clearly you are of great intelligence and often your short comments are amusing. However, when you preach and lecture you spoil the comic fun for me. I go to college to be educated; I come here for my daily dose of smiles. Don’t leave; just don’t lecture so much please :-))

Left click on the comic and it gets bigger. Left click again to return to original size. CTRL scroll wheel works with IE 6, 7, 8 and Firefox also.

    Reference censorship:

So, by some people’s logic, if they go to a buffet and see foods there that they don’t like, the offending foods should be removed from the buffet.

If you don’t like chicken, don’t eat the chicken.

If chicken on the buffet bothers you, don’t go to buffets.

Hi Puddleglum2. Please feel free to post whatever you like. The only thing that I flag is spammers. If it directs me to another site to buy something, I flag it. I’ve only flagged a “real person” poster twice, and that was for unwarranted swearing—NOT for their opinion.

Please continue with your postings, I find them interesting.

Sorry, dahawk, I didn’t make it clear that I was ranting about yesterdays comments.

People insisting that religious remarks (as opposed to prosylitizing) have no place here gets under my skin. Comics are about life. I cannot, will not, separate religion from life. And no true Christian can.

Linda Arney, Thank you for the info about Romeo and Juliet. I looked it up anyway. I find the KJV Bible easier to understand than Shakespeare, although they were written in the same time period.

rogue53, At least two of the comments yesterday were directed at me by name, and some were implied, although not only at me. Also, I fit my comments today (Sunday) into the context of the comic (and punned them) which made them seem even more serious. Some of us are interested in more than comic amusement. I like variety. Please allow us to enjoy it our way and everyone else may enjoy it however he/she wants. :o)

If you will remember, I didn’t mention any names. If you felt it applied to you, that was, and is, up to you. I only expressed my opinion that I preferred to have a laugh and some humor rather than lectures and religion with my breakfast. I never suggested anyone shouldn’t be allowed “to enjoy it our way”. From now on, I will just skip over your comments, and have a happier, more enlightened and less negative outlook to start the day.
