I think Hobbes needs to find a place where he can be alone and fall down on the floor and laugh until it hurts.

LuvH8: I don’t remember asking about the reindeer but Santa with the chimney thing scared me for Santa since the chimney we had went into the furnace. Santa watching you all the time I just figured was just like God so I could see that one happening. It was the Tooth Fairy that creeped me out as a kid, thinking the thing was buzzing around me at night and crawling under my pillow when I was asleep!

It takes a disciplined constitution to lie to yourself and truly believe it. Calvin may well have grown to become an iconic politician. That’s how the “successful” ones do… remove their conscience to an alter ego that they can send away or ignore.

It would seem that the only difference between C&H is that Hobbs owns up to what they do and, somehow, Calvin can’t do that.

I have a presentation to do today, I think I’ll throw “extra good” in and see how many C&H fans are in the room.

    Hadn’t noticed before that Calvin’s a southpaw. Of course Hobb’s a fourpaw.

Hey Superfrog, isn’t it funny how lefties are always getting into trouble and causing a commotion. Yeah, lefties are always up to no good and…….hey, wait….I’m a leftie…..uhhhhh…never mind.

Dino-1 The Tooth Fairy definitely has a high creep factor. Right up there with the boogeyman. And what does the Tooth Fairy do with all those teeth?

Dear Santa, I’ve been extra good this year. Please bring me lots of presents. I used the coal from last year to make decorations for this year’s tree. I’d really like a train to go around the tree. Love, LuvH8

This just might work. After all, Santa is a senior citizen and it seems that a lot of the elder generation believes that IF they read it somewhere, THEN it must be true. (Particularly if they read it in an email about some such scary thing that instructs them to forward to ALL of their friends! Those must all be true, right?)

What’s wrong with you Calvin? How do you think you’ll get away with lying to Santa? Don’t you know he sees you when you’re sleeping, he know when you’re awake, he knows if you’ve been bad or good…”

I guess Santa must be like God. You can’t fool either one of them.

Reminds me of a certain Peanuts strip where Lucy tried writing a letter to Santa saying she was “perfect all year”

LuvH8 said, “…And what does the Tooth Fairy do with all those teeth?” I’ll bite; What does she do with them? All seriousness aside, maybe she builds ‘bridges’ with them. That might be just a ‘partial’ truth. I’m trying to ‘implant’ a little humor here, but some people probably think I’ve ‘gummed’ it up and bitten off more than I can chew.

LuvH8: Thanks now I’m creeped out all over again. Puddleglum2: Good one. Glad to see you can come up with a comment that doesn’t refer to the bible again! I’ll have to look into wikipedia to see where the tooth fairy story came from and if they have an answer to what she was supposed to do with all the teeth. Sounds like a Brothers Grimm story.
