Methinks that Calvin should walk the straight and narrow tonight. Otherwise, he’ll be chained to the table.

Usually, if I ring the bell and no one comes - I ring again or go away. Its Rosalyn fault for just standing out there. Leave the poor kid alone!

No rshive, the house does have a basement where he can be confined (through the oversimplistic method of locking the connecting door to main levels).

But mum expecting that Calvin to open the door to someone she knows he hates–now that is dense!

Rosalyn can help herself to anything in the fridge. Calvin has to eat what he hates. That’s very bad.

Roselyn expects to have an easy evening. She will park Calvin in bed immediately, then lock the door, eat whatever she wants in the fridge and watch TV. And ignore all that banging from Calvin’s door and the hollering, “Lemme out! I have to go to the bathroom!”

It’s only 6pm and it’s bedtime already! …

Griping that her first word is “BED”? Well, what do you expect? He left her standing outside in the rain for who knows how long! And he knows it, like in panel 3.

Hey!! They made me one! and I was reading another comic and everyone there was a “pro” too - so maybe it’s a program bug for today.
