I am going to Philly to visit my big sister, crack of dawn tomorrow so will not post tonite or maybe for a few days, I will try though, if I feel secure about the network. Would someone on Ten Cats let them know I am absent but not on the loading dock? Sometimes they wonder.
We are on our way HOME, and Dennis is on his way East! Have a safe trip, my Friend. We’re in Salt Lake City tonight, Idaho Falls tomorrow night, and HOME on Saturday night! Today’s drive was very relaxing, checking out all the GREEN fields and ranches of Utah. I’m sure everything will still be white at home (maybe).
We’re heading on over to the Tiki Room for a glass of Cabernet. If anyone is still up, come and join us.
I think I may be detecting a theme in recent issues of Cleo & Co. It’s on the tip of my tongue. Something about early Egyptian civics ….. Ptolemy …….. Romans.
Thank you for keeping the punch line regarding Cleo so obvious. It makes it much easier on blockheads like me when we can see it coming for miles. Sort of like a Mel Brooks movie.
Meanwhile…. it’s past my bedtime….. which is ordinarily way too late anyway.
I’ve been fooling around with my modem and phone lines cos my internet connection has been breaking off every few minutes all evening, and went out altogether for an hour or so.
A long comment I tried to post earlier disappeared… I think I tried to refresh before it had submitted, cos the connection was down….
So.. to repeat, briefly …. happy travels…. the rest of yours, Montana Lady…. and we’ll miss you, Dennis….
It’s the Tiki Bar, ML… come on back to the Cleo Room…..
Don’t worry, Dennis… no more than two Excavators Club members allowed in the Tiki at the same time, and no equipment, ever.
yes indeedy, today’s episode, first run in September of ’15 shows the crudeness and undisciplined animation thatwas common in those early days……..things are different these days.

Oh my goodness! Fred and Carson invited us here tonight, to post our comments on ….
the April 27th 2018 “CLEO and COMPANY” ….after reading it on Sherpa:
http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
I knew there wouldn’t be many women in the Excavator’s Social Club,
because it was founded by actual ex-excavators…
and there weren’t a lot of female excavators to begin with, so of course, not many become ex-excavators.
Lillian Brownslee is an ex-excavator, and she did warn me that the “boys” can be a little rowdy.
In fact, last year, she quit, and distanced herself from the club….
she’s now an Ex-Excavator’s Clubber…
and kind of a self-proclaimed ex-ex-excavator, as well.
But I figured we’d check it out….
“Oh…. hi Carson..” (back there in the red sweater…)
“Very nice thanks… no, that’s OK…
I think we’ll just walk on up to the Tiki.
We have a Cleo room there this week, you know….
so… right, we’re fine… thanks…. buh bye…"

You ex-excavators are a wild and crazy bunch! Susan, don’t let them bring their equipment into the Tiki!

I know Tom Foolery personally. Heckuva guy. Bit of a practical joker, but he laughs when the joke’s on him, too.

Maybe that’s why Cleo developed her icy stare….
to cool down her drinks.

And I posted your comment at Ten Cats.
G’night, all…
