Good morning people and pets.When I started looking for the home I am now in, i insisted that I would not live in a community with a home owners association. Since my home borders on Hwy 101 it’s not part of the association because its zoned comertal/residential.

That’s not a link.I have no idea why it did that.All I did was highlight the first silable of association.

I could NEVER live with those nazis!

I also would not buy a home where I had to conform to someone else’s rules of conformity.

HOAs have good points and bad points. Mostly bad points:-P

Control freaks are always in charge of homeowner’s associations because they are the only ones who go to the meetings.

Speaking of HOAs, here’s a notice they put out last month in the newsletter.

PLUMBINGThe Board has decided to schedule a monthly water shut off day for all necessary plumbing repairs to be performed residents. The Association is run on water heaters, which must be delicately turned on and off, therefore it is best to minimize the number of times the water is shut off. The monthly schedules day will be the first Saturday of the each month, if you have any plumbing repairs please made sure to schedule it for tis day (at no cost). If you plan on shutting off your water on any other day of the month there will be a water shut off charge. Management will need 48 hours advanced notice from any resident planning on performing repairs on this day. You may notify ██ ██████ at …Now I’ve lived here for 40 years and only recall about 12 times the water was shut off in my building. Now they’re going to shut it off for the whole complex 12 times a year! And on a day when most people are at home. And with the water off the pool will have to be closed.Do I smell the seeds of revolution?

My sister has a plastic flamingo in her front yard, but its not pink.A number of years ago her children had at it with purple paint.She left it up…
