Ouchie, don’t do that, we only have so many. I had a friend who saved her cat’s shedded whiskers in a jar, thinking that if she threw them out it would be bad luck.

When we first shared our home with a cat my wife wanted to trim her whiskers; I explained why that wouldn’t be a good idea.

I set up a Facebook page ages ago at a friend’s suggestion, but use it only when somebody says something to me or it is someone’s birthday.

Dry, Grog , I’m your side about FB, guys. ( btw, thanks for the kind words)I thought I was in the minority in my hatred of FB,it is forever hassling you to like this or befriend that or answer this …I can do without the obligations.the final straw came when someone hacked into my account, obtained names and email addresses and sent emails that made it look like they came from ME and then inviting them to click on this ‘REALLY COOLTHING’ or some such. once a mark clicked on it, their address was compromised and they were inundated with spam…I know the hack came from my FB account because it was the only place on the net where those names were. I had to email all my friends to caution them not to open or click on anything in these emails since, I said, They did not come from me…….The scam emails stopped after I closed my account.FB is evil

The pressure ulcer on moms bottom may be hiding a fistula.

The visit from my brother was wonderful.
