The situation has become Sirius for Fergus.He has become a dog star. I hope it is not permanent.He could also become a space junk yard dog.

Optimus Prime My oldest son LOVED the Transformers, back in the early 90’s. Then little bro came along, and that and Legos was their thing! Legos are great for kids, they can use their imagination and build anything. but those little tiny pieces are HE!! when you step on one in your bare feet!

We had a yard sale last summer, or the summer before, I forget which, LOL, and the boys decided to put all their Lego pieces in one of those big plastic storage bins they sell in the stores. Of course, it was all odds and ends, but there were a TON of pieces in that bin. This lady came by and wanted to buy the bin but she wanted to pay less than what they were asking. She wanted them for her grandson, called her daughter, made a big production of talking with her daughter, like buying the box of Legos was a MAJOR life or death decision! Geez! My boys were even selling the bin as part of the deal! You ever priced Legos? Those babies SURE AS HE!! AIN’T CHEAP! JUST ASK ME!

Anyway, I hit submit before I was done here! She tried to get them to sell the works for a pittance. They did well bargaining, they said, look we are throwing in this plastic storage bin as well as the Legos, they both said at the same time, "No, we can’t go any lower, we had too much fun playing with these together, and we can’t just give them away"! I don’t know if them saying that and her seeing their enthusiasm made her decide or not, but she took them. And even at that, SHE GOT A DAMN BARGAIN!

I still have my Legos, Fellow Baby. I just won’t Lego.

Fellow Baby, LOL! I still have some of their intact big projects in another big plastic bin in the attic. A castle, a ship, a fort, and I forget what else! And I have most of their grade school papers and drawings, etc. And a lot of their favorite children’s books. I figure someday they might get a “kick” out of the old memories! :-)

Fellow Baby, I’ve been looking up summer song compilations on CD at Amazon. Unfortunately, I’ll have to start remaking some old summer tapes I have. On the plus side, I think I can include some new material from what I’ve seen. It’s going to be fun.

Grog did you ever have mechano sets? My BIL grew up with those.

Leggos are classic now too.

Dry, your boys are either genius salesmen, or else very genuine and healthy boys at heart. I opt for the latter. I’m glad that story ended well.

I like your rabbit in a box happy. Different than pulling a rabbit out of a hat, that is for sure.

It sounds like you will be busy with your music Grog. I’ll bet it turns out great.
