I guess those settlers are still giving all their best though, to overcome the population growth advantage you keep going on about that the Muslims have, eh Oldlego?
om,
How you choose to view it is one thing but the demographics are there. The Muslim segment in several European countries has a higher birth rate than the rest. It is also true that the non-Jewish population in the Israeli- Palastine region has also outgrown the Jewish segment which is one of the reasons the Israelis are so stubborn over the right of return.
Unlike some, I don’t see any reason for panic in Europe over the issue. I have no real interest in getting involved in discussing the Israel issue. It’s a mess.
Gladius: Nah, the demographics doesn’t trouble me.
Initial high birth rates will taper off. And I do not view the Muslims as a threat.
My comment was more for the fact that of the Israeli colonists in these illegal settlements, a good many are orthodox or ultra-orthodox with very large families which would rival Oldlego’s fear-mongering video he showed me before. I heard that they were up to 3 times the rate in Israel itself. More, the birth rate in Israel was creeping up to 2.9 while Palestinian births had dropped from 4.5 to 4.0 (but are these including Israeli Arabs? Hmmm, not sure) . However, by the time their lines meet, the great Israeli fear is that the Israelis might be in the minority. Oh dear. Cannot have that, can we. But honestly, I don’t think it will happen.
But at any rate, we are agreed that the Israeli issues are messy. ;-)

What does “anti semantic” mean? If he needs a dictionary to find “antisemitic” then he should use one.

Gladius: I’m new here but I have noticed he likes leaving cryptic comments. I don’t think he ever returns to debate anything?

I recently noticed that he posted something about Israel forever on another toon but I didn’t get a full translation. It was in Hebrew.
