What we see here is the possible origin of the tramp stamp. On a personal note I rather like tattood girls but then I’m into art in allmost any form.

There is nothing more perfect, or beautiful, or artful, than a naked female. Why mess with it?

While I do like Dan Fogelberg, in my head I always refer to him as “Dan Fogelburp”, ever since this strip first aired.

Random fun fact: in some ancient cultures tattoos were actually a symbol of wealth since only the elite could afford them. Funny how things transition in and out of favor.

I like print media because it has ink. I like swiss cheese because it has holes. People with piercings and Tatoos? Um, no. Total turn off.

I’ve talked to my daughter in the past about Tattoos. She told me that she thought about it and when she’d find a design she liked she would draw it up in full scale and stick it on her bathroom mirror. If she still liked looking at it after a month she would get it done… no design has ever lasted that long before she got tired of looking at it. She is a graduate, with honors from Art school so she knows design and color and all that stuff. She said," Tattoos are forever. If I don’t like looking at it for a month straight I don’t want it." pretty wise I think. She’s married with a baby and she says she still gets the urge for ink but she always puts it to that thirty-day test.

My previous post on this subject is just how I am. I don’t like them personally but to each his own and I will tolerate any persons personal choice and not say anything to them unless the ask my opinion. I just say that isn’t me and it isn’t a turn on for me.

Sweeping generalizations and stereotyping are for the simple-minded.

Forget which comic said it … I believe it was when Angolina Jolie got married to Billy Bob Thornton and they both had each other’s names tatooed on them … comedian said “OK, I understand marriage and wedding vows … but mutual tattoos? That’s just so … permanent.”
