The thing that jumped out at me was the reference to Freddy the Pig:

It’s also a reference to the poem “Trees” by Joyce Kilmer: “I think that I shall never see, A poem lovely as a tree ….”

Interesting that Berkeley misspelled “cough” but not “dough.”
