I could feel the warmth until Andy walked by. He and your mother have a way of turning a summer day into winter chill.

They seem cordial enough, given the enmity that they effuse.

Reminds me of Seinfeld: “Hello, Newman.”

Andy was polite in a curt sort of way.

Brrrrrr!

Boy I am so HOT! Andy should become HOT after he will inform his wife, Flo that his mother in law stands and waits at the door for Flo.

At least he called her “mother-in-law”.
