Actually MGs are still in production, and the “parent” company is now owned by China, after a history of many recent sales. Hmmm maybe more prophetic than Danziger intended?

Of course, MGs were lousy vehicles no matter who built ‘em. In the British Auto industry, the guy who designed the electrical systems for Leyland was known as the Prince of Darkness
