(pykrete was invented by the british during ww2, heck, they considered building an aircraft carrier out of the stuff! pykrete is a mixture of ice and sawdust or some other type of wood pulp. the demonstration went like this, someone pulled out a gun, shot a piece of wood, which shattered, then they shot the pykrete, which ricocheted off and hit someone else in the room!)
