At least the personal ads used to be somewhat tasteful. Most of the the stuff on Craig’s list is vulgar and not even remotely amusing. If you’re going to be crude, at least be funny.
I feel your pain. This is absolutely the worst site that I have ever encountered – if I didn’t love their product, I would have abandoned the site long ago. My filters keep away the pop-up ads, but not the “rollover” ads – inadvertently move the mouse cursor over an ad, and the thing enlarges to consume the screen. Vile.
