Passing laws just for the sake of passing laws is not the right way to go, either. Our country has been around over 200 years and we have had all that time to pass the laws that affect most of us day to day. So, now we should scale back to only have the Federal Gov’t convene every other year to pass laws, this would allow at least one year for these new laws to take effect and see the results before modifying them to deal with unforeseen issues. The only Constitutional change needed would be to change having to pass a budget every year to every other year, so the bonus is that the budget is set for two years, no drama every year, just every other year. There’re already procedures in place if an emergency session of gov’t needs to be called to deal with emergencies, including if the budget needs to be adjusted for whatever reason, so this is not an issue.

Sadly, this isn’t true anymore because now they are in bed with Nazi’s, KKK and other white supremacists and bigots wanting to change everything to their world view by first tearing everything down. The Republican Party no longer exists as it has been replaced by MAGA terrorists.

Both parties want things their way, and they have been fighting forever. Nothing will change. I can see why my parents quit voting back in the 80’s. Nothing has changed. I’ve been voting Libertarian, hoping for some change, even in my local government, but they never win…nothing changes. sigh…
