President Biden, Democrats, and independents realize Republicans and their christian conservatives don’t want anything to do with unifying our country’s citizens with the money they have worked so hard for and loaned to our government representatives. Republicans and their christian conservatives believe embezzling those funds for their own power and control is what freedom means to them.

So, if I’m reading this correctly, Biden, in the name of “unity”, should compromise with the “ultra MAGA Republicans” who want to “kill your freedoms”? For instance, compromise to only ban some books?

I’m sure the cartoonist meant to suggest that that group really won’t kill our freedoms. Considering what they’ve done since the Dodds decision, the hoops they’ve added to vote, the banning of books, etc. I sincerely doubt he has an understanding of “freedoms” and/or compromise.

Cheating Joe Biden had prepared questions and a list of approved reporters to call on at todays press meeting with the president of South Korea. There are close ups of him holding cheat sheets in his hand while at his podium. Unbelievable.

President Trump would never do such a thing. He talked to the press at every opportunity, boarding and disembarking Marine One and Air Force One, walking around the White House etc. President Trump never had to resort to such cheat sheets, he could talk off the cuff at the drop of a pin.

I remember the good old days when we had low gas prices, low diesel prices, low gas bills, low energy bills, low interest rates, low inflation, low food prices, low crime rates, a secure border and a president who cared about our citizens. Sadly, that all took a turn for the worse on January 20, 2021.

What Biden had said is 100% accurate: the MAGA crowd is out to bring down our form of government, suppress free speech and voting, eliminate personal freedoms and privacy rights. Disagree and you get attacked. This is not all Republicans and Biden has been clear to delineated this.

Divide and conquer Joe. It’s your only accomplishment you’re good at.

Blaming Biden because a bunch of right-wing lunatics want to destroy the country? It’s Biden’s fault for not “unifying” with them? Please.

I don’t remember, in my lifetime, and Democrat screaming “liar” at the President of the United States during a SOTU address. Unify this?

I liked his cartoons from April 1-April 24 better.

We will gladly welcome them if they give up all of their greed, hate and misogyny.

The president was in the Senate for a long time and was used to working across the aisle. That’s why he tries to reach out to the Republicans and unify Congress. Not sure that this will work with that nutty lady from Georgia and others like her.
