History is everything that everybody has ever done, it’s a complicated mess. The job of historians is to organize that plate of spaghetti into meaningful and hopefully usable threads of cause and effect that shape into themes and patterns. It’s the same as what what botanists do with flora and zoologists with fauna. Leave the scientists to their work!

Florida banned the book about the life of Rosa Parks—un(freakin)believable. How racist can a State be? Back to pre-civil war days and jim crow laws. It appears that “Chubby De Satan” only wants history about fat white Italians taught in schools.

WWII would be covered in detail, but leave out the part about fire-bombing civilian populations in Germany and Japan (and those concentration camps in California). I know our concentration camps weren’t as bad as their concentration camps, but we still don’t want to hear about them.

One of the losing points in home and private schooling is the community socialization. Selective participation was ruled as separate is not equal Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas. If schools are not teaching children to think for themselves, they are failing future generation who will lack the will to push their boundaries.

And some school districts would rather you not teach about the ‘fake’ moon landings!
