I’m running out of disk space to hold the spreadsheet on which I am keeping track of how many charges in different jurisdictions he’s up on.

Each one is a separate, distinct witch hunt and every single one of them made it to court with absolutely no evidence at all and even judges HE appointed and Republican elected officials are politically motivated against him. According to him at least.

Unfortunately, for him, he can no longer fire or threaten the people investigating him. At best he can motivate his base to threaten the people investigating him. No doubt, when one of them murders a judge or prosecutor, that person will be called a patriot and if sent to jail for the murder – a political prisoner. Trump gets off without even being indicted.

Legally, all he can do is generate hundreds of counter-suits.

I am not saying he’s guilty, but usually when I see huge black clouds of billowing smoke, I think it’s a good idea to check and see if there’s a fire under it.

The “Fake Media” gave Trump a billion dollars of free publicity in 2016, because as CBS put it, “He’s money in the bank.” The only time we saw his opponent was when he was ridiculing her and on the debate stage.

since biden has been in office, it has been such a pleasure to get up in the morning and not think “my god- i wonder what he has done now?!”i am worried, however, that that thought may be reoccurring after the next election. ugh!

The historian part of me wishes I’d be alive 50 years or so from now to see how this era, these ideas, this person is assessed and evaluated. The other part of me is glad that I’ll be long gone as the paradigm of “truthiness” and constant fearmongering created by the right might win out. Very sad.

Props to Silenced Victim for demonstrating how easy it is to get reactive emotional responses to a hodgepodge of mostly opinionated/unfounded assertions/allegations … that are easy recognized as bait to catch the featured comment slot.

He is a money maker for Fox, so he keeps showing up all the time.

Every night, too. But that’s actually good for the country. It keeps him popular with a lot of Republicans, but not enough to win in a general election. And it keeps him properly reviled by the rest of America.

If anyone is going to prevent a revisionist version of Trump, a “Trump 2.0.” if you will, it’s Trump himself. No one, even the justice system, can make him go away. But he’s a walking self-own, which will help keep the country safe from him.

Trump should get his trials aired on TV, with Matlock as his lawyer… think of the ratings! (Which is about all that Trump cares about)…

I quit watching TV news cold turkey 8 years ago when the networks all decided to give Trump more time each night than every other candidate combined. Sounds like they are doing it again.

I’m still waiting for all of his great plans that he was going to have “in a couple of weeks” but they never came out.

We never left. Don’t blame the media. He’s a former president who lost re-election. He’s being investigated in four different criminal matters. He’s running for president again. He retains a 41% popularity rating, comparable to what he had as president. Of COURSE they’re going to cover him.
