We got 30 seconds or so of his recent rally. It was theater of the absurd. The one member of the audience they talked to pointed out that they‘ve been investigating him for 6 years and STILL nothing. It is obvious to him that it’s totally political and has no merit.
The orange maniac packed the courts with so many of his surrogates between 2017 and 2020. If he was ever convicted of any crime it is quite likely some slug on an appeals bench would overturn it. The Trumpster is indeed a piece of work. Case in point, he chose Waco for his TX rally, makes sense as it is where David Koresh went off the deep end 30 years ago. Trump also chose the site of a 1921 race massacre when he held a rally in Tulsa. Yet considering how deranged the Trumpster is I guess these symbolic gestures ought to be expected. Question is, who is/was more dangerous or crazy: Koresh or the Trumpster? As scary as this may sound the Trumpster would get the nod due to his mass appeal to the alt right.
In 2016, Trump received one billion dollars of free publicity from the “Fake Media.” He was on air 24/7. CBS stated, “We know he’s bad for America, but he’s money in the bank.” The only time we saw his opponent was when he ridiculed her and during the debates.
I don’t care whether it’s being pushed by actual prosecutors, Democratic operatives, or by Trump himself, this is one news squirrel I’ll continue to ignore. Somebody call me when Trump actually gets arrested.
I worked in government for most of my career. I once worked in the office of a politician who was really a decent guy but not exactly the brightest person around. The second in command was the “man behind the curtain” and he liked to say that he didn’t care whether the news story about his boss was good or bad, everything was okay as long as they spelled his name right. Not too tough when your name is Tim Hill but we all got the point.
